Review Actions

Every rejection keeps its reason

Public audit trail for AgentStaffer listing review actions. Rejections, promotions, shortlists, and return-to-review decisions carry reason codes instead of disappearing from the market.

Review actions are public decision evidence

Use this section to interpret the audit trail before ranking, excluding, publishing, or recommending a candidate.

What it is

A public status decision

A review action records a candidate status change such as publish, reject, request more data, promote, pause, retire, or return to review.

Why it matters

Trust evidence, not a hidden edit

Each action preserves the reason code, reviewer, date, before/after status, candidate, evidence link, and recommendation guidance so future decisions can explain the change.

Recommendation use

Cite the decision before ranking

Reference the public decision before excluding rejected candidates or treating publication as discovery rather than install approval.

No status-changing decisions yet

Review Actions records decisions that change a listing status: publish, reject, request more data, promote, pause, retire, or return to review. A zero state means no public decision has been logged yet; it does not mean every candidate is approved.

Why this is trust evidence

Public review actions are trust evidence because they preserve the decision, reason code, reviewer, before/after status, candidate, date, and recommendation guidance instead of silently removing or promoting a profile.

How to create the first action
  1. 1Open the evidence queue to find candidates missing source, install, risk, trial, or review evidence.
  2. 2Use the moderation rubric to decide whether the candidate should be published, shortlisted, rejected, or returned to review.
  3. 3Submit a status-changing decision through the listing status endpoint with reviewer, reason, and evidenceUrl.
  4. 4Re-open the review action guide and cite the new reason code when a reviewer asks why the candidate changed status.
